Job Summary: The L5 Risk Manager – Business Intelligence (RM BI) is responsible for employing advanced statistical modeling, data analytics, and data science techniques to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.

The role is an individual contributor responsible for aiding the Global Strategy & Plans team in their decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ advanced statistical modeling, data analytics, and data science techniques to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Lead difficult problems or projects, requiring coordination across a wide range of stakeholders and the utilization of statistical modeling, as well as predictive and descriptive data modeling techniques.
  • Take ownership of difficult data problems, escalating them when they become particularly challenging or when encountering blockers.
  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate and refine the performance of models and algorithms.
  • Apply advanced statistical modeling, data analytics, and data science techniques to extract insights from extensive datasets and identify risks.
  • Lead difficult data projects to generate meaningful outcomes that move the organization forward.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with multiple Python libraries.
  • Experience creating, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models.
  • Experience with AWS technologies including: S3, Lambda, Sage Maker, Redshift, and IAM roles and permissions.
  • Experience building complex SQL queries with large scale datasets.
  • Experience building products on data visualization tools.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R).
  • Understanding of statistical methods (e.g., t-test, Chi-squared).

  • Strong project planning skills and cross-team leadership experience.
