Steve Noone Landscaping is a long-established landscaping company based in Co. Sligo providing services to the Sligo area and surrounding counties.
Our company primarily specialises in private work ranging from seaside landscapes through to parkland works within SACs, projects ranging in value from €10k to €300k. Generally, the company will complete 20 No €20k - €100k projects per annum.
We strive to deliver work of the highest quality, maintain long-lasting relationships with our customers, and be the market leader in the region.
We build our own designs, whilst also being the chosen contractor by many independent designers to build their designs, providing a build and develop / maintain service.
We are looking to engage with an enthusiastic Landscape Architect to join our team.
The role will be primarily in the Sligo area on various sites, whilst some remote working may be facilitated.
The position is best suited to someone with a minimum of 2 years experience in Landscape Design.
This position is a permanent role.
Role
- Working with the Director, the in-house management team, Ground build teams and Clients to develop garden and landscape builds.
- Surveying Sites.
- Setting out on site for ground build teams.
- Recording as built information.
- Working within a Team, leading a team, teaching junior staff on projects that involve surveying and setting out.
- Preparing planting plans, schedules and procurement of plants.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience working as a landscape designer, with a good all-round skill set, combined with design flair and technical competence.
- Competent with GNSS equipment, topcon / trimbe etc.
- Experience in construction detailing would be a requirement.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment, and also on own initiative.
- Strong plant knowledge.
- A full B driving licence.
- Safe Pass, Manual handling and relevant tickets would be an advantage.
Package
€35k - €50k negotiable based on experience.
Job Type: Permanent.
Pay: €35,000.00-€50,000.00 per year.
