Job Title: Laundry Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our team at Brookfield Care Centre. As a Laundry Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our residents' laundry is cleaned and returned to them in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, dry, and iron all personal and household laundry in a timely manner
- Sort and label clothing according to the laundry cleaning schedule
- Operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently, reporting any defects to the Housekeeping manager
- Monitor laundry stocks and report low levels to the Housekeeping manager
- Return all cleaned laundry to the correct resident in good condition
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar environment is an advantage
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Availability to work shift patterns across Monday to Sunday
