Learning & Development Business Partner

A key role within the HR Team, responsible for leading Learning and Development onsite and consulting with stakeholders to identify employee needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Learning and Development onsite and consult with key stakeholders to identify learning and development needs for employees.
  • Proactive talent management, including succession planning at all levels and external talent pipelining.
  • Working with relevant SMEs to expand Competency Framework to include key roles and lead the development of our people to successfully progress through the framework.
  • Roll out Induction Programme for new hires and maintain content up to date.
  • Prepare and present new hire and internal promotion onboardings and work closely with functional manager to manage this process.
  • Identify skills gaps, design and implement comprehensive Learning and Development Plans and solutions that address gaps and meet corporate and site goals.
  • Devise, tailor or source learning and development programmes to promote internal progression/development of employees.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of training.
  • Deliver Supervisory Basics, Bronze Belt Training and other relevant training programs.
  • Manage Performance Management Cycle and Training for the site, ensuring SMART goals are set and PDPs are developed and completed.
  • Track and run reports and follow through on all required training to ensure compliance targets are achieved.
  • Devise and manage the training budget and identify and qualify training instructors/facilitators to ensure quality, cost effective L&D solutions.
  • Build strong network with colleges, local ETB, and other relevant networks including attending relevant career events.
  • Manage Apprenticeship programmes and be point of contact for our apprentices on/off site providing necessary support and mentorship to them.
  • Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with GMP in all practices, recording of events and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field/Training and Development qualification.
  • Lean Manufacturing qualification advantageous.
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Manufacturing experience highly desirable.
  • Ability to organize and prioritise work and work on own initiative.
  • Results orientated with excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with ability to devise/tailor training programs.
  • Ability to communicate, interact and build relationships at all levels in and outside the organization.
  • Advanced Microsoft applications user.
