Job Description
Lead Accountant Retail and Treasury role at PTSB, a leading Irish retail and SME bank, requires a qualified accountant to deliver risk-assured financial information and lead a team to achieve high professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Senior Management in developing a best-in-class Financial Accounting & Control team, delivering efficient and accurate financial close & reporting process.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team to deliver high-quality financial information and reports.
- Ensure compliance with emerging commercial, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
- Champion a continuous improvement culture and mind-set across the Finance function.
- Deliver a risk-assured, service-oriented, performance-focused, operationally excellent Financial Accounting & Control function.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Strong appreciation of robust controls.
- Self-starter, highly motivated with ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
- Team-focused, flexible, and willing to assist in achieving team goals.
- Strong focus on attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic, committed, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
