Job Description

As a Lead Analyst FP&A, you will support management with ensuring the delivery of the monthly financial performance to senior management, ExCo and Board along with preparing the Banks multi-year financial plan. You will have a unique opportunity to develop a level of subject matter expertise, play an integral role in the Banks key strategic priorities, and have significant exposure to senior management. The candidate will be given the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of many key facets of PTSB: including its legal structure; product offerings; functional teams; and balance sheet. Responsibilities: Review monthly actual versus budgeted performance Assist with the preparation of financial presentations for senior management, ExCo & Board Contribute to the maintenance, continual improvement of the Anaplan budgeting and forecasting tool Contribute to the financial analysis of proposed commercial strategies, preparation of sensitivity analysis and evaluation of strategic considerations Contribute to the teams role in driving and improving the quality of financial analysis provided to senior management Develop cross-functional relationships to maintain and improve the flow of key information, thereby ensuring the delivery of on-time and internally consistent data Support senior management on an ad hoc basis Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets & multi-year financial forecasts Requirements: Essential Holder of a relevant professional qualification in accounting (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills Sound commercial acumen Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships Customer outcome focus and effective partner management A clear focus on quality and efficiency Strong problem solving capabilities Highly motivated with the ability to work on own initiative Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desired Previous experience in a FP&A role, or other role involving a significant financial analysis component Previous experience in a finance function within a financial institution preferred Strong understanding of performance drivers and balance sheet dynamics Solid understanding of financial valuations This is a Permanent (Hybrid) position for based in the Republic of Ireland.
