Lead Commerce Developer Technology Lead
As a key member of the technical team, you will lead the development of high-quality customizations for B2B e-commerce applications, collaborating with offshore teams and guiding junior developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop code components independently as per client requirements.
- Contribute to the design and development of high-quality customizations for B2B e-commerce applications.
- Analyze business requirements and create technical design documents in accordance with the company's architecture standards.
- Support the execution of the program, ensuring quality delivery of digital artifacts in alignment with the client's e-commerce roadmap.
- Interact with tech architects to understand technology direction/changes, standards, and best practices.
- Coordinate with multiple teams.
- Participate in discussions with customers as needed and articulate the value delivered by proposed technical solutions.
Technical Skills and Experience:
- Strong e-commerce background with B2B/B2C implementation experience.
- Knowledge and experience in Java-based applications and REST APIs.
- Knowledge and experience with design, development, deployment, and release processes for commerce implementations.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce solution architecture and knowledge of different systems involved in a typical e-commerce solution.
- Experience in leading and guiding a technical team of junior developers in estimating stories and delivering sprints.
- Experience in end-to-end project implementation of functional projects in commerce.
- Experience in working in an onshore/offshore model.
- Experience in different business models of commerce (B2B, B2C).
- End-to-end experience in the software development life cycle and familiarity with agile methodologies.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of digital services and customer experience.
- Strong client and internal stakeholder management with strong leadership skills.
- Active participation in communication with business stakeholders and involvement in all SDLC lifecycles.
- Capability to review the work done by other team members and guide them in complex issues.
- Good knowledge of Agile methodology.
Preferred:
- Good knowledge of front-end technologies such as Angular JS and PWA.
- Good knowledge in the implementation of microservices and cloud-based architecture such as Azure Cloud.
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
