Role Summary:
This position focuses on establishing a Data Management Office to lead data strategy, ensuring data quality, security, and migration. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and stakeholder management skills to support data-driven decision-making. They will also help upgrade data-driven reporting and provide expertise on data implications of new transformative applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management:
- Design and implement data quality frameworks and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on data metrics and adherence to quality standards.
- Lead data integration strategies and ensure interoperability across systems.
- Research and evaluate new data technologies.
- Support the development of datadriven reports and dashboards.
- Maintain compliance with EU regulations and data governance policies.
Transformation Programme:
- Support the transformation programme's data streams and objectives.
- Lead the Data Conversion workstream, including data mapping, quality control, and postimplementation reviews.
- Develop strategies to consolidate data and streamline reporting.
- Collaborate with the Privacy Manager on GDPR and data security requirements.
Data Governance:
- Assist in establishing and enforcing data governance, security policies, and compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Develop data ownership and stewardship practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Management, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in data management, governance, and data security.
- Experience in data discovery, migration, and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
This role reports to the Head of Business Technology Strategy, Design and Delivery and is part of a forward-thinking, dynamic team contributing to the organization's transformation journey.
