Lead Data Engineer (Software Engineering Background) Greenfield Data Platform (Azure tech stack, Java and Spring Boot) Hands-on tech & mentorship Remote-flexi working model An exceptional opportunity has just opened up with a household name in the Financial Services Sector. If you have a mix of Software and Data Engineering experience (using Java & Spring Boot, Databricks and Python), you won't want to miss this one! In this dynamic and hands-on position, youll mentor of data and software engineers while designing and developing a brand-new data platform to connect various client systems and communicate with the organisation's main stakeholders and clients. Utilizing the latest Azure technologyDatabricks, Azure Data Factory, PySpark, and ETLsYoull build this project from the ground up. Their stunning, global tech hub is located in Dublin City Centre, with on-site presence required a few times a month (Candidates must be based in the Greater Dublin Area). Skills/Experience Required: Strong experience in Java & Spring Boot (Senior/Lead level) Strong experience in building data pipelines/ETLs (Senior/Lead level) Strong experience building data pipelines/ETLs with Azure Tech; Databricks, Python. (Senior/Lead level) Salary: €100,000 €120,000 DOE + €12,000 Annual Bonus + €10,000 Additional Bonus + 8% Non-Contributory Pension + Full Healthcare & Dental and much MORE!
