Our client, a leading international company in fire protection systems, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Design Engineer to join their team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of Design Engineers, overseeing multiple design projects and ensuring quality and efficiency.

• Lead, manage, and support a team of Design Engineers.
• Oversee multiple design projects, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Resolve coordination and design roadblocks effectively.
• Manage drawing standards and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and accreditation processes.
• Develop and update Design SOPs, manuals, and procedures.
• Track, monitor, and update the progress of all designs in project management systems.
• Implement standard design tools to enhance project execution efficiencies.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development of team members.
• Promote and maintain a positive HSEQ culture and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of Fire Sprinkler Design Experience.
• Experience using Revit, Auto CAD/Solid Works.
• Demonstrated skills in Project Management.
• LPCB - Basic, Intermediate, and FHC Exams are desirable but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible, adaptable, and can-do attitude to work.
• Proven record of building and sustaining effective and professional working relationships.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and reliability skills.
