Lead Designer for AAA Console Games We're seeking a talented Lead Designer to join our team and influence the creation of a world-class game title. As a founding member of our new studio in Dublin, you'll lead the design team and form the glue between disciplines, driving the product forward through collaborative leadership and design excellence. At Electric Square, we understand that the worlds we build are pivotal to the success of our games and the enjoyment of our players. Our diverse portfolio includes acclaimed titles like 'Diablo 4', 'Lords of the Fallen', and 'Assassin's Creed VR'. We strive to deliver unforgettable gaming experiences through collaboration with four innovative studios and a team of 350+ talented individuals. **Key Responsibilities:** • Lead the design team in creating new and exciting features and content • Manage and inspire confidence with clients and partners • Ensure smooth, clear communication within the design team and wider development team • Own design and implementation for the project, including production planning and cross-discipline coordination • Set standards for design team on the project and ensure delivery on time to quality • Delegate tasks across the design team by providing clear goals and empowering staff • Create and maintain design documentation • Respond to and implement feedback from data, reviews, and play tests • Provide feedback on all aspects of design in reviews • Identify risks for the team and propose mitigations • Mentor and coach designers on the project • Partner with HR and team in the recruiting and hiring process **Qualifications:** • Prior experience as a lead designer • Experience working with external stakeholders • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills • Good people management skills: listens, includes, and enhances others' ideas • Ability to concisely articulate game concepts and analyze game mechanics • Broad and deep knowledge of systems and content design • High level of personal productivity • Experience in vehicle gameplay for open-world action games Keywords Studios is dedicated to following a well-established Equal Opportunities Policy, creating a workplace that provides for equal opportunities for all employees and potential employees.
