Lead Development Representative - UK Public Sector Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Lead Development Representative to join the EMEA Public Sector team in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for qualifying leads, profiling customers, and providing input on lead development campaigns. Key responsibilities include managing incoming leads, conducting discussions with prospects and customers, and understanding customer pain points. The ideal candidate will have a technical interest, relevant experience in IT prospecting or sales, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred qualifications include self-starting skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills, as well as experience working in a customer-facing role. Amazon is an equal opportunities employer and values diversity and inclusion in the workplace. **Job Description** * Manage incoming leads in a timely manner * Conduct discussions with prospects and customers to identify and qualify opportunities * Understand customer pain points and gather technical requirements * Generate interest in AWS solutions and provide vision to potential customers * Achieve monthly qualification goals * Update and maintain customer information within a CRM tool * Provide account management team with detailed call notes * Present technical solutions to diverse audiences **Requirements** * College/University Degree or equivalent experience * Technical interest with relevant experience in IT prospecting or sales * Experience using a CRM/Customer Relationship Management tool and the Microsoft Office Suite * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Passion for technology and learning **Preferred Qualifications** * Self-starter with highly developed interpersonal skills and organizational skills * Target orientated, ambitious, creative, customer focused * Experience working in a customer-facing role * AWS certification or other industry certification
