Lead Dev Ops Engineer sought to oversee Dev Ops and Biz Ops operations for two key products, ensuring smooth release of well-tested code through well-managed pipelines.
Our client, a leading multinational financial services corporation headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, is looking for a talented Senior Dev Ops Engineer to help drive their innovative Decision Management Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Dev Ops and Biz Ops operations for two key products.
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and management teams to maintain efficient, automated release cycles.
- Focus on improving system observability, resilience, performance, monitoring, self-healing, and deployment automation.
Essential Skills:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines, especially using Jenkins.
- Expertise with Chef (preferably Chef Habitat) and Ruby/Bash scripting.
- Knowledge of certificate management, mutual TLS, SSL handshakes, SSH keys, and encryption methods.
- Understanding of OAuth and MTLS.
- Basic understanding of network protocols, network security, and WAF.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with cloud management and automation, preferably Azure (AWS is also beneficial).
- Proficiency in Java, Ruby, Python, or Bash.
- Experience deploying and scaling distributed systems on virtual machines.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other container orchestration tools.
