We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join us during an ambitious period of digital transformation. You will play an important role in enabling a modern and trustworthy bank for our customers, thats digitally oriented, operationally efficient, and underpinned by a secure and resilient technology infrastructure. You will work across operational and change initiatives to understand the foundational infrastructure requirements, delivering solutions that are simple, scalable, secure and supportable. You'll be involved in emerging technologies and will have an opportunity to hone your existing skills, while developing new capabilities and raising your profile across the bank. Responsibilities: Leading and developing an established team of Architects, creating an engaging, inclusive and innovative culture, focused on resilience-by-design. Designing customer centric, performant, secure and robust infrastructure solutions across multiple compute and orchestration platforms Leading the evaluation and adoption of the latest tech, defining target state architectures that solve business and enterprise challenges. Contributing to the provision of quality multiyear technology roadmaps across storage, compute, network and security as part of our technology strategy. Championing a culture of continual improvement and smarter ways of working, providing support and direction to technical delivery teams Requirements: Minimum 7 years experience across multiple IT roles with at least 5 years experience in an Architecture role for large, regulated organisations. Previous experience leading and developing a high performing team, championing a continual improvement mindset. Proven track record of end-to-end infrastructure design incorporating requirements gathering, low-level/high-level design, governance and execution across complex multi-platform enterprise IT technology stacks Broad knowledge and proven solution design experience across the core infrastructure pillars of Compute, Network and Storage, both On-Premises and Public Clouds Experience designing and delivering cloud native workloads and exposure to cloud migrations including establishment of appropriate cloud governance. Demonstrated Risk Management skills including identification of Operational Resilience risks and associated mitigation plans. This is a Permanent role based in PTSB's Dublin or Cork office.
