Hyatt Centric Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mixologist to join our team at the Hyatt Centric in Dublin. As a key member of our bar team, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising bar team members, ensuring exceptional customer service, and overseeing the preparation and serving of beverages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and supervise bar team members
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for bar team members
- Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to customers
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently
- Oversee preparation and serving of beverages, including cocktails and coffees
- Create and update drink menus
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and complies with health and safety regulations
- Assist with food service when necessary
- Upselling food & beverage and cross-selling across the hotel and group such as rooms and packages
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a busy bar in a supervisory or management role
- Mixologist/cocktail experience is essential for this role
- Previous experience in a cocktail bar or 4/5* hotel will be a distinct advantage
- Available to work up to full time hours is essential
- Available for evenings and weekends is essential
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and team management abilities
- Reliable, dedicated and passionate about delivering high levels of service
- Fluent English
