Lead Process Engineer (Hybrid)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Process Engineer to join our team in Ireland, with a salary of €70-80 per hour.
Our client is a leading project management and consultancy firm operating in multiple sectors, including pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, chemical, medical devices, waste treatment, and food and beverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan resources effectively and monitor team project status.
- Engage in proposal and business development activities.
- Support and develop the DPS CPD program.
- Exemplify and promote DPS Core Values and Codes of Practice.
- Price and scope new projects, define deliverables, and oversee implementation of process designs on time and within budget.
- Prepare process design deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, and equipment specifications.
- Interact with clients to build relationships and secure future projects.
- Ensure compliance with local, international, and client codes and standards.
- Participate in PHAs, HAZOPs, design, and peer reviews.
- Ensure quality control through proper use of forms, procedures, and calculations/software.
- Mentor junior process engineers.
- Develop tools, procedures, and standards to enhance the discipline.
- Improve collaboration with other disciplines.
- Manage process technologies and improvement procedures, providing continuous training for the team.
- Align with the Central Engineering Group and implement procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Process Chemical Engineering.
- Preference for professional status (e.g., Chartered Engineer).
- Team management experience in project engineering, particularly in pharma, bio-life sciences, medical devices, microelectronics, or similar industries.
- Proven track record in winning and delivering business projects.
- At least 7 years of discipline experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a design office environment and previous experience as a Design Lead.
