Lead Project Manager required for a 12-Month Contractor role with a Galway-based client to manage project financials for a $30 million global program.
Our client is seeking a skilled professional to oversee the financial aspects of a large-scale IT project. The selected candidate will work closely with program/project managers to ensure the program stays within budget and is delivered on time.
- Manage project financials for a $30 million global program
- Work with program/project managers to ensure program stays within budget and is delivered on time
- Identify areas of improvement for project operations by monitoring program progress
- Coordinate statements of work, work orders, purchase orders, invoicing, and payments with system integrators and vendors
- Update corporate financial tools for forecasting
- Create project progress reports and make recommendations for improvement
- Analyze performance data to establish performance metrics around project financials
- Anticipate potential problems and develop risk mitigations
- Liaise with internal departments, manufacturing sites, project managers, and other stakeholders
- Ensure project adheres to all corporate and IT policies and standards
- Manage project constraints: Scope, Cost, Schedule
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or University Degree
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Practical knowledge and demonstrated competence in large-scale IT project/program management
- Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and Microsoft Excel experience
