Job Description
**Lead Quality Automation Engineer**
Innovate with Mastercard and drive quality assurance in a dynamic environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and deliver test strategies, improve software engineering craftsmanship, and scale systems sustainably.
- Work with complex enterprise-wide initiatives to drive quality assurance/automation resolution.
- Collaborate with business/product owners to design and deliver test strategies for new products and bundles.
- Contribute to and lead test guild initiatives to improve software engineering craftsmanship.
- Plan, analyze, design, and execute manual and automated end-to-end user validation tests of the developer experience ecosystem.
- Report, analyze, and optimize the automation framework and tests.
- Apply judgment and experience to balance trade-offs between competing interests.
- Consult across teams and program lines to identify synergies and reuse opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experience with industry standard test and CI/CD tools (Git, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory).
- Designing and implementing an effective and efficient test automation strategy.
- Experience in Java, Python, Go, Groovy, Perl, or Ruby (preferred).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Azure, GCP, AWS).
- Engaging in holistic problem-solving and incident response.
