**Job Title: Lean Manufacturing Manager** **Job Summary:** The Lean Manufacturing Manager will lead and support the implementation of lean initiatives in the Military Flight Controls Division, focusing on eliminating waste and improving productivity in manufacturing and support functions. **Job Description:** The Military Flight Controls Division, a leading provider of primary and secondary flight control systems, seeks a highly skilled Lean Manufacturing Manager to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for championing and leading lean initiatives across the division, utilizing the company's WIN Strategy and organizing associates in value stream mapping and continuous improvement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead and support the implementation of lean initiatives in the Military Flight Controls Division * Organize associates in value stream mapping and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste in all office, factory, and support functions * Measure and report progress on an ongoing basis using the Lean Journey Assessment, financial performance measures, and Lean Report Card measures * Transfer ownership of lean principles to facility leadership and lean managers * Develop and implement standard work around functional disciplines, including manufacturing processes, fixturing, tooling, and EH&S * Participate in value stream mapping and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste in all office, factory, and support functions * Work with division staff and plant-level management on lean implementation using Parker Lean Systems as the principal tool **Requirements:** * Minimum of a BSME or related four-year technical degree * Minimum of five years of manufacturing experience, demonstrating self-starting and hands-on quality * Six Sigma Black Belt preferred * Strong knowledge and experience with manufacturing processes, fixturing, tooling, EH&S, and developing standard work around each of these functional disciplines * Excellent communication skills to lead and support empowered employees in a team environment * Good presentation skills to effectively share the success and ideas of the division **Parker Aerospace:** Parker Aerospace is a leading provider of aerospace systems and components, serving the global aerospace industry for over 90 years.
