**Learning and Development Specialist**
A 9-month contract role to design and deliver training programs to improve individual and organisational performance in a pharmaceutical company based in Ireland.
**Job Responsibilities:**
• Assess and prioritise training needs for the site, consulting with L&D Lead, managers and subject matter experts, and referencing the site's strategic goals and Employee Development Plans.
• Support managers and individuals by providing information, advice and resources to promote a high-performing organisation.
• Design and deliver customized training plans for new and existing employees.
• Lead the day-to-day operation of the learning management system, ensuring correct records retention for training records.
• Provide guidance for the design of training programs and assist in evaluation of training activities.
• Develop training content, including materials and/or training aids required to deliver training programs.
• Act as subject matter expert for the training system and provide audit support as required.
• Work with relevant departments to prepare the Annual GMP and EHS training plans for the site.
• Facilitate classroom and skills training as required.
**Requirements:**
• Degree-level qualification in Management, Life Sciences or related discipline.
• Expert knowledge of principles and methods for design and delivery of training material.
• Presentation skills, training evaluation skills, computer skills, project management skills, and strong customer focus mind set.
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills (oral and written), and ability to work independently with strong decision-making skills.
• Change management skills and ability to influence others in a positive manner.
