UCD School of Economics Seeks Experienced Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Economics
UCD School of Economics is seeking a highly qualified Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Economics with an active research track record and excellent communication skills to teach macroeconomics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Responsibilities:
- Teach macroeconomics and other relevant subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- Contribute to research and academic activities within the UCD School of Economics
- Develop and maintain a strong research profile in macroeconomics or a related field
- Participate in curriculum development and review
- Supervise postgraduate students and contribute to the academic development of colleagues
Requirements:
- PhD in Economics or a related field
- Strong research track record in macroeconomics or a related field
- Excellent teaching and communication skills
- Ability to teach and develop courses in macroeconomics and related subjects
- Experience in academic management and leadership
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position
- 37 hours per week
- Salary scale: €62,855 - €99,533 per annum
- Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
