Job Description
UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics seeks a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Statistics to engage in research and teaching across the mathematical sciences.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the School's wide-ranging programme of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, including supervision of research projects.
The School offers highly successful taught masters programmes in Statistics, Data and Computational Science, and Data Analytics (online).
The successful candidate will be appointed on a salary scale of €40,182 - €69,194 per annum, in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
The School is committed to research and teaching across the mathematical sciences, including Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science.
The successful candidate will be expected to engage in research in Statistics, including supervision of research projects, and to contribute to the School's wide-ranging programme of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
