Job Description
Experienced professional sought to lead commissioning process for HVAC, Electrical and Building Envelope systems, with a focus on LEED Certification.
We are a leading International engineering, architecture, project and construction management consultancy with a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Commissioning process for HVAC, Electrical and Building Envelope systems with a particular focus on the commissioning requirements to support the LEED Certification of multiple LEED projects.
- Review Owner Project Requirements (OPR's) and Basis of Design (BOD) documents to ensure they meet the intended requirements.
- Prepare Commissioning Specifications and design and construction phase Commissioning Plans.
- Facilitate commissioning meetings.
- Review submittals, start-up sheets, RFIs and change orders for commissioned equipment and systems.
- Prepare Functional Performance Test procedures, review TAB process and final TAB reports.
- Prepare Final Reports and Systems Manuals to provide a comprehensive project summary to the Owner.
- Support the growth of our team and assist with preparing proposals for new and existing clients.
- Perform field visits to observe installation of commissioned systems and prepare field reports.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications
- Qualification (Level 8) in Architecture/Engineering/Environmental/Sustainability or related subject.
- Qualifications in LEED GA or AP BD&C / ID+C and/or BREEAM AP and/or WELL AP desirable.
- Licensed Professional Engineer or Chartered Engineer status preferable.
- 5+ years' experience as a commissioning/energy systems consultant or related position.
- Commissioning process experience on at least 5 building projects, preferably in the industrial sector.
