Job Description

We are exclusively working with an established full-service commercial firm who are keen to speak to Legal Administrators with circa 1 years experience to support the firms continued growth. The firm has an excellent reputation for being a great place to work, with an open-door culture where everyone is friendly, approachable and down to earth. The role would suit a law grad with some office experience or a legal administrator who was keen to make a later move. Responsibilities include: Providing a high level of administration and support to Fee Earners and Operations Manager. Preparing and scheduling of court bundles, legal briefs, legal reports and documents. Drafting letters including demand letters and following up with third parties re same. Audio typing, formatting and editing documents and correspondence. Billing administration. Generating invoices and credit notes for fee earners. Producing time reports. Verifying bank account details and requesting bank transfers in line with procedures. Document and Email management including use of integrated applications for central system management, file sharing/receiving and PDF editing. Ongoing File management including opening and archiving of files (electronic and paper based). Updating content management side of firm website. Post administration, Printing & Scanning. Booking couriers and taxis. Attendance at Central Office to cover filing clerk duties when required. Ad hoc duties as and when required. Skills and Experience: A proactive and professional attitude with strong communications skills is essential. Ability to adapt to new processes and procedures in a progressive environment. Circa one year's experience in legal industry. Capable of working on their own initiative but with a team orientated mindset. Enthusiastic, motivated with a can do attitude. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills. Keyhouse experience or similar document management/case management experience would be an advantage. Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Strong IT and System skills.
