Our client is a global financial services entity based in Dublin. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Legal & Compliance Advisor to join their legal team. This role reports to a Senior Legal & Compliance Officer (there are also additional lawyers in Dublin who sit on the corporate transactional legal team). This organization employs close to 70 people in Dublin, and operate an interesting and dynamic working environment. This role offers the successful candidate significant opportunities to grow and progress in an in-house legal and regulatory capacity. Experience from either a mid-large law firm (where you have gained some exposure to financial services) or from another in-house role. Responsibilities Supporting the Legal and Compliance Officer in the implementation and monitoring of legislative and regulatory requirements as applicable to the Company. Providing support to all business units in reviewing, drafting, and amending legal agreements. Assisting in the preparation of CRO returns, board and shareholder resolutions as well as meeting documentation and minutes Key areas: Commercial/Commercial Contracts, 50% Compliance/Regulatory, 35%-40% Company Secretarial, 10%-15% Requirements Experience of drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements is essential. Previous experience in analysing the impact of new legislation and regulation and undertaking compliance reviews would be ideal. Strong planning, time management and organisational skills, and attention to detail. A confident self-starter with a strong commercial and legal mindset, capable of independently managing workload and priorities.
