About us: In this role you will: Work closely with our Group General Counsel to ensure compliance with legal requirements, mitigate risks, and safeguard the interests of our company and clients. Provide legal support and guidance to the company on a wide range of legal matters. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including consultancy agreements, sub-contractor agreements, and supplier contracts. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Ensure data protection compliance across the business. Conduct legal research and analysis on company-related legal issues and provide recommendations to mitigate risks. Advise project teams on contract interpretation, contract disputes, and claims management. Assist in the resolution of legal disputes and claims, including participating in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date legal documentation, contracts, and records. Stay updated on changes in legislation, regulations, and industry best practices. Liaise with external legal counsel and coordinate legal matters, as needed. We would love to hear from you if you: Qualified Solicitor or lawyer with a minimum of 3 years PQE. Experience in construction preferable but not a requisite. Strong skills in drafting and/or reviewing legal documents are highly desirable. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess legal risks and provide practical solutions. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple relationships effectively, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate legal concepts to non-legal professionals. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, efficiency, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to take ownership of responsibilities. Proficient in transaction and project management, ensuring effective coordination and execution.
