Seeking an experienced IP Secretary/Administrator to provide administrative support to the Trademark and Patent Departments of an Intellectual Property firm in Citywest, Dublin.
**Job Description:**
As an IP Secretary/Administrator, you will work closely with IP Attorneys and Administrators to offer full secretarial/administrative support to both the Trademark and Patent teams.
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to IP attorneys, including assistance with case management and patent and trademark formalities.
- Typing and preparing patent specifications, preparing and filing of patent and design applications online.
- Preparing and filing of trademark applications online, preparing reports for clients and updating records management system.
- Instructing foreign associates on foreign filing programs, preparation of correspondence, legal documents and invoices to clients.
- Maintaining and organising electronic and physical file systems and diary management, answering the telephone and passing on telephone messages accurately and promptly.
**Requirements:**
- 2 years secretarial/administration experience in a legal or allied professional office.
- Fast and accurate typing skills, proven ability to work in an extremely busy environment and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, practical and solution-oriented, ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Power Point), knowledge of Adobe Acrobat DC, Photoshop or Nitro PDF an advantage.
- Knowledge of Intellectual Property preferred, but not essential.
