Seeking experienced Legal Secretary to provide administrative and secretarial support to legal executives and lawyers in a well-established practice in County Kerry.
We are looking for a highly organized and efficient individual with excellent communication skills to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Producing legal documentation such as court papers, contracts and wills.
- Accompanying solicitors to police cells or the courtroom.
- Answering all telephone calls.
- Managing petty cash and maintaining detailed records of costs.
- Making appointments for employers.
- General administration work.
- Using in-house database.
- Scheduling court depositions, hearings, and other meetings.
- Filing documents with the court ahead of deadlines.
- Transcribing and proofreading legal documents.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience as a paralegal or legal secretary.
- Familiarity with legal documents and terminology.
- Working knowledge of litigation management software systems.
- Ability to type with a speed of at least 50 wpm with high accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary open to negotiation based on experience and qualifications.
