Job Description

IT Support Specialist required to manage and respond to helpdesk calls, troubleshoot hardware faults, and install software and hardware.

Located in Dublin 1, this role involves working with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritise and manage helpdesk calls to meet required SLAs
  • Establish and build on good working relationships with customers
  • Troubleshoot and refer hardware faults to third parties
  • Install and configure computer hardware and peripherals, operating systems, and applications
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for software and hardware installation
  • Deal with how-to and information requests, including data security and ICT policies
  • Liaise with local and national ICT teams to resolve technical issues
  • Document new solutions and install individual software requests
  • Manage Lenovo warranty repairs and spare parts
  • Follow and adhere to Service Desk processes and procedures
  • Coordinate office activities to secure efficiency and compliance
  • Create and update SOPs and submit timely reports

Requirements:

  • Experience in working on an ITIL-aligned Helpdesk
  • Strong Windows 10 desktop skills
  • Management of Intune for deployments
  • Hardware break-fix on laptops
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to organise work with an organised manner
  • Self-starter with a willingness to take responsibility
  • The ability to interact with key stakeholders in a professional manner

Education and Certifications:

  • Third-level education qualification is preferable
  • IT industry certifications (Microsoft/Lenovo)
