**Life and Pensions Office Manager** A seasoned financial services professional is sought to lead a busy Life and Pensions office in Cork city, overseeing daily operations, team management, and customer service. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead a team in managing new life and pensions applications, including documentation review and processing * Develop and implement standard operating procedures for policy administration * Approve and process applications in accordance with product rules, regulatory requirements, and company procedures * Monitor customer policy change requests and manage transfer-in processes * Develop and maintain customer communications throughout the application and policy lifecycle * Oversee customer service, ensuring proactive, prompt, and professional interactions * Establish and maintain regular communication with company directors * Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement and business growth * Lead initiatives to define and improve processes, including technology adoption and best practices * Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices * Establish and maintain excellent customer and broker relations **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in business or related financial services field * Minimum Competency qualifications set under CBI requirements (QFA) * Minimum 5 years of experience in the Insurance Industry (preferable Life and Pensions) * Ability to identify areas for improvement and provide customer-focused solutions * Results-focused, with excellent verbal and written communication skills * Leadership and accountability, with high integrity and professionalism * Customer-focused and strategic thinker, with adaptability to changing market and company needs * Emotional intelligence and collaboration, with strong presentation skills **Package:** * Attractive basic salary + performance-related bonus + other attractive staff benefits * Full-time role based in Cork office with remote working allowed (20% of the working month) **Skills:** * QFA * CBI * Pensions * Life Assurance Manager
