We are looking for an Apprentice Lift Engineer to join our Repairs/Maintenance team in Dublin. As an Apprentice Lift Engineer, you will work with experienced Lift Engineers to learn and understand the company and requirements to become a qualified Lift Engineer. What you need to be successful: To complete a 4-year Electrical apprenticeship, supported through a structured in-house development programme in conjunction with SOLAS. To undertake a range of tasks suited to the current level of training and development in the lift industry. Attend SOLAS and complete course work on time and to a high standard. Assist and liaise with Managers/Supervisors on relevant work activities. Understand and apply the electrical principles associated with lift installation and lift maintenance on all electrical equipment and systems. Minimum Requirements: To be successfully shortlisted for the apprentice scheme you must: Be qualified to Leaving Certificate or equivalent standard: This must include five passes in the Leaving Certificate (Maths and English must be two of these).
