Job Description

Airworthiness Control Engineer (ACE)/ Line Maintenance Controller The Role We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Airworthiness Control Engineer (ACE) to join our client's team. As the ACE, you will be the primary liaison between the flight crew, CAMO, and AMOs performing line maintenance. Your responsibilities will include: Maintenance Coordination: Oversee day-to-day control and planning of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using the AMOS maintenance coordination module. Resource Management: Ensure the availability of required tooling, spares, manpower, and hangar allocation before maintenance commences. Downtime Management: Request sufficient downtime from flight operations for scheduled maintenance by assessing relevant maintenance data and liaising with the certifying engineer. AOG Aircraft Management: Allocate realistic repair times for AOG aircraft in coordination with operations for return to service. Spare Parts Monitoring: Track all spare parts movements for items approaching expiry. Interface Management: Manage the interface between the Operator's CAMO and Line Maintenance AMO(s). Maintenance Planning: Monitor and plan the accomplishment of all upcoming forecasted maintenance requirements, including AMP tasks not already assigned to a work pack generated by the Planning Department, W/Os in advance of compliance limit, and closure of HILs in a timely manner. About You The ideal candidate will possess: A Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent, or an EASA Part 66 B2 Type License. A minimum of 3 years' experience in aviation engineering. A proven avionic background and experience. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets (ability to manipulate/interpret data in MS Excel), word processing, and presentation packages. Previous experience with AMOS is desirable but not essential. A proactive and responsible attitude, with the ability to drive initiatives at all levels of the operation. This role is shift based and does involve nights. Shifts are 12 hours, 6 to 6 and run in two possible shift patterns. Salary is €85k base, plus shift bonus.
