You will be responsible for Recruiting and training the best people for your team, ensuring they have the capability to deliver above and beyond in their role by developing their operational and leadership skills. Coaching your team to be passionate and knowledgeable about the products in your store, building its brand and providing customers with the right range, quality, and service to ensure they keep coming back. Leading your team in driving trade activity and using your expertise and knowledge to grow sales and maximize profit. Building your team's knowledge to deliver resource-planned activities, ensuring hours are worked when and where they most benefit customers, and identifying and resolving root cause issues with sustainable solutions and continual reviews. Ensuring the safety of your colleagues is your top priority, coaching the team to use all security tools available to provide a safer place to work. You will need A great communicator who shares knowledge, experience, and best practices, understanding the importance of collaboration to deliver results. Natural and welcoming with customers, putting them at the heart of everything you do, taking the time to listen and understand others, and building strong relationships with colleagues and customers. Energy and resilience to maintain momentum in challenging environments, owning decision-making for the store, and acting quickly based on what is right for customers and colleagues. Drive to deliver beyond expectations, doing the right thing in both good and tough times, inspiring confidence in those around you. Aware of competitors and always looking for ways to build and deliver new initiatives to improve the store for customers. Experience as a Retail Store Manager, leading a small team.
