Job Summary: Line Operative - Skilled role at Isle of Man Meats involves efficiently delivering high quality meat products, requiring physical strength, knowledge of animal anatomy, and ability to operate machinery.
The Line Operative will be responsible for delivering high quality meat products, performing all stages of primary conversion of cattle, sheep and pigs, breaking carcasses into quarters and deboning into primals.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of animal anatomy and meat cuts, ability to use knives, saws, and other tools safely and efficiently, physical strength and stamina to handle heavy carcasses and work in cold and wet conditions.
The successful candidate will be highly organized and driven, an effective time manager, with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and a good level of English language.
Working hours will be 39 hours per week with some flexibility required.
