This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team focusing on community and in game content for a leading social games publisher.The role is to translate and trans create from English into Korean player support, community and in game content for mobile games.The linguist will also be responsible for testing, identifying, and reporting bugs, as well as suggesting fixes to potential bugs relating to language, text implementation and user interface (UI) issues.This role requires excellent language skills, creativity and a passion for games.The salary for this position is €34,881.60 per year.Duties and ResponsibilitiesTranslate/trans create in game, player support and community content from English to Korean to a high-quality standardPerform Quality Assurance tasks in a variety of published content (games, websites, etc.)Be responsible for all linguistic aspects of the translations you are assigned to ensure the best possible quality is achievedSuggest process improvements that will deliver on the goal of optimal translation qualityCollaborate with linguists in other languages on cross group Quality objectivesRequirementsNative level Korean speakerPassion for games industryEducational qualification in linguisticsExperience in translation, copywriting or linguisticsExcellent verbal and written linguistic skills both in Korean and EnglishGood PC knowledge, including knowledge of MS Office products is essential (basic knowledge of Excel, or willingness to learn)Must be self-motivated and able to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skillsOutstanding attention to detailExcellent problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with CAT tool software, (e.g. Memsource/Phrase, MemoQ) an advantageBenefitsOur employees are our most valuable resource; therefore, we provide them with a competitive compensation package commensurate with skills and experience, excellent benefits, high level of job satisfaction and a casual and fun work environment.Keywords International is dedicated to following a well-established Equal Opportunities Policy.
