Job Description An exciting opportunity to join the Control Management team in Dublin! As a Location Control Management Senior Associate within our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the location has a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end governance model, partnering with Business and Functional stakeholders to ensure issues identified are remediated in a timely manner and escalated as appropriate. Job responsibilities Partner effectively with colleagues across the firm, business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators, and technology control functions to drive consistent and rigorous operational risk practices Assist management team to advise on and continually reassess key risks and appropriateness of controls to ensure timely identification of significant issues to support an evolving business and regulatory environment Execute the control evaluation roadmap to facilitate the effectiveness of key controls and proactively identify control gaps Provide input for the end to end execution of the controls agenda including issue management, error analysis and resolution and proactive control reviews Ensure operational practices are in compliance with relevant risk standards, policies and regulations to maintain an effective control environment Support Business and Functions to ensure key metrics presented to location governance committees inform on the health of the risk and control environment Drive and manage projects and initiatives on risk and controls (e.g. regulatory projects and awareness sessions) and provide input to various control committees and forums Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 5+ years of experience in operations, business or control function within financial services industry Team player, professional and proactive approach to work, positive attitude with an ability to communicate across multiple teams Very strong communication skills both oral and written Ability to drive a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk identification and assessment Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) About Us J.P.
