Job Description

Job Summary: Control Management Senior Associate in Dublin, responsible for ensuring a sustainable and disciplined governance model, partnering with stakeholders to identify and remediate issues.

As a Control Management Senior Associate in Dublin, you will be responsible for ensuring the location has a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end governance model. You will partner with Business and Functional stakeholders to ensure issues identified are remediated in a timely manner and escalated as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner effectively with colleagues across the firm, business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators, and technology control functions to drive consistent and rigorous operational risk practices.
  • Assist management team to advise on and continually reassess key risks and appropriateness of controls to ensure timely identification of significant issues to support an evolving business and regulatory environment.
  • Execute the control evaluation roadmap to facilitate the effectiveness of key controls and proactively identify control gaps.
  • Provide input for the end-to-end execution of the controls agenda including issue management, error analysis and resolution and proactive control reviews.
  • Ensure operational practices are in compliance with relevant risk standards, policies and regulations to maintain an effective control environment.
  • Support Business and Functions to ensure key metrics presented to location governance committees inform on the health of the risk and control environment.
  • Drive and manage projects and initiatives on risk and controls (e.g. regulatory projects and awareness sessions) and provide input to various control committees and forums.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, business or control function within financial services industry.
  • Team player, professional and proactive approach to work, positive attitude with an ability to communicate across multiple teams.
  • Very strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to drive a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk identification and assessment.
