Job Summary: Control Management Senior Associate
Partner with the Control Management team in Dublin to ensure a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end governance model, driving consistent and rigorous operational risk practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with colleagues across the firm, business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators, and technology control functions to drive consistent and rigorous operational risk practices.
- Assist management team to advise on and continually reassess key risks and appropriateness of controls to ensure timely identification of significant issues to support an evolving business and regulatory environment.
- Execute the control evaluation roadmap to facilitate the effectiveness of key controls and proactively identify control gaps.
- Provide input for the end-to-end execution of the controls agenda, including issue management, error analysis and resolution, and proactive control reviews.
- Ensure operational practices are in compliance with relevant risk standards, policies, and regulations to maintain an effective control environment.
- Support Business and Functions to ensure key metrics presented to location governance committees inform on the health of the risk and control environment.
- Drive and manage projects and initiatives on risk and controls, such as regulatory projects and awareness sessions, and provide input to various control committees and forums.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in operations, business, or control function within the financial services industry.
- Team player, professional, and proactive approach to work, with a positive attitude and ability to communicate across multiple teams.
- Very strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to drive a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk identification and assessment.
