**Microsoft Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician** **Job Summary:** Perform cycle audits, execute deliveries, coordinate security escorts, and document deliveries as a key member of Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation team. As a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services. **Responsibilities:** * Perform cycle audits and data corrections to ensure all inventory controls are met * Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and process failed vendor hardware devices * Develop working knowledge of stock control and inventory management practices and procedures * Ensure accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing deliveries and records * Perform destruction of data bearing devices following all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Microsoft policies * Comply with all security and data management policies * Embody Microsoft's culture and values **Qualifications:** * High School Diploma and previous experience in inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field * Ability to meet Microsoft's security screening requirements * Previous experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment is preferred **About Microsoft:** Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation team is the engine that powers our cloud services.
