Company: Global Distributor of chemicals & ingredients used in everyday products We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team based in Dublin. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will provide effective route planning and control all administration within the logistics department. Key Responsibilities: + Providing accurate and effective administration & record keeping + Scheduling fleet & contracted haulage effectively to meet both service, fleet utilisation and cost objectives + Ensuring maximum fleet utilisation when route planning + Organising & controlling all contracted haulage and reducing contracted haulage cost + Ensuring compliance with all Transportation legal requirements + Reporting accidents, incidents and near misses as per company policy / procedures + Ensuring good housekeeping within the Logistics department + Processing purchase and expense returns as required + Confirming delivery of orders despatched / received is carried out in the time frame required + Ensuring fleet service & maintenance is completed as required We Are Looking For: + A good level of IT skills + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Able to follow established procedures + Able to prioritise work as needed and display a high level of attention to detail + IMDG training is a bonus, but not essential + Previous experience with route planning would also be an advantage Who we are: With revenues in excess of $9 billion, Univar Solutions is one of the largest chemical distribution businesses in the world.
