Logistics Specialist, Data Center Communities

AWS Infrastructure Services owns and operates all AWS global infrastructure, supporting data centers and servers that ensure customer access to innovation.

As a Logistics Specialist, you will participate in a 3-month work and training program in a Frankfurt Data Center, ensuring overall availability and reliability for customers.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, and operations managers to deliver high standards for safety and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Data Center inventory, in-bound shipments, and ongoing demand
  • Handle incoming shipments, including unpacking boxes and performing checks
  • Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers
  • Keep accurate records of material movements
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels are maintained
  • Operate Return Merchandise Authorization process and receive replacements
  • Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups
  • Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company
  • Adhere to strict safety standards and maintain workspaces
  • Frequent lifting of materials and products

This role is full-time (40 hours/week) and requires travel to multiple sites as part of daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years or older
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
