Job Description
Temporary nightshift machine operative required to work in a manufacturing environment in Newry, operating a press machine and maintaining records.
In partnership with our client, we have a requirement for a nightshift machine operative to work on a temporary basis to cover seasonal demands.
The successful candidate will be involved in carrying out a variety of production tasks on site, including operating a press machine and monitoring the quality of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the quality of goods produced
- Operate a press machine and set it to the required standard
- Maintain accurate records for the department
Essential Criteria:
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Awareness of health and safety procedures
- Experience of record keeping with attention to detail
- Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience working a nightshift is desirable
The job will involve working 39 hours per week, 4 nightshifts, Monday to Thursday, with an hourly rate of pay of £15.53 per hour, plus production bonus and excellent overtime rates of pay.
Contract length: 5 months +
