Job Description
Machine Operative required to operate various machines and workstations in a cutting hall, ensuring quality checks and efficient workflow.
Responsibilities
- Operate and understand control functions of machines and workstations.
- Use cranes and lifting equipment for handling and moving steel parts.
- Use and comply with documentation, drawings, and production control systems.
- Ensure quality checks and complete necessary records.
- Forward plan tasks and tools for efficient workflow.
- Be flexible and trained on different machines and workstations.
- Maintain good housekeeping and work environment.
- Carry out work safely and wear appropriate PPE.
Qualifications and Experience
- Manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings.
- Previous experience operating a machine, steel cutting, plasma cutting, and gas torch.
- Experience with lifting equipment and cranes desirable.
Working Hours
Available to work shifts 06:30 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 23:30, rotating every week.
