Summary: Experienced Shift Maintenance Engineer with strong Automation skills required to support Automated Cold Store Warehouse Maintenance Team.
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Automation Engineer to join our team at ARYZTA's Grangecastle, Dublin site. As a key member of our Maintenance Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Automated Cold Store Warehouse. **Key Responsibilities:** • Provide hands-on support to the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Shift Technician • Offer online/remote/out-of-hours Automation support when needed • Participate in ongoing continuous improvement projects and preventative maintenance works • Develop and manage Automation elements of the Annual Maintenance budget • Ensure adherence to ARYZTA company policies and procedures • Collaborate with the Maintenance Team to deliver departmental goals and KPIs **Requirements:** • Degree Level 8 in Engineering - Electrical, Automation and Control • Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in Automation engineering • Strong interest in automation engineering and experience in live automated working environments • Ability to provide Electrical, Automation and Mechanical maintenance support • Qualified Electrical Engineer with strong Automation skills • Strong Siemens PLC Step7 programming (STL) and related hardware configuration skills • Experience with fault finding of Automated systems and thorough interrogation of STL functional code • Excellent knowledge and understanding of motor control, especially using Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis and report writing skills • Good working knowledge of all Automation Environment relevant fieldbus protocols **Personal Attributes:** • Excellent communicator • Energetic, can-do attitude • Clear thinker who works well under pressure • Strong continuous improvement mentality and focus • Ability to take ownership of situations and bring them to positive conclusion • Strong sense of Responsibility, Leadership and ability to perform on own or as part of the wider ARYZTA team
