Summary: Experienced Shift Maintenance Engineer with strong Automation skills required to support Automated Cold Store Warehouse Maintenance Team.
ARYZTA is a leading international specialist food company with a global presence in the food service, retail, and Quick Service Restaurant sectors. We specialize in baked goods, sweet and savory food, and operate 57 bakeries across the world.
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Automation Engineer to join our team in Grangecastle, Dublin. The successful candidate will work within the Maintenance Team, supporting the Cold Store Warehouse Facility and at times the on-site Bakery lines supplying product to the Cold Store Warehouse.
The role will involve:
- Providing hands-on support to the Maintenance Supervisor and/or the shift Technician
- Providing online / remote / out of hours Automation support when needed
- Ongoing continuous improvement projects and preventative maintenance works
- Automation support to be available when needed
The ideal candidate will have:
- Degree Level 8 in Engineering - Electrical, Automation and Control
- Min 5 years' post qualification experience and strong interest in automation engineering
- Excellent Maintenance support experience within live automated working environments
- Ability to provide Electrical, Automation and Mechanical maintenance support where required
- Strong Siemens PLC Step7 programming (STL) and related hardware configuration skills
- Experience with fault finding of Automated systems thorough interrogation / review of STL functional code
- Clear ability to understand structured code and electrical schematics
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of motor control especially that using Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis and report writing skills
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- General Maintenance support as part of the wider Cold Store Maintenance Team
- Fully responsible for all Automation related tasks within the Cold Store Warehouse
- Delivery of departmental goals as outlined in department KPIs
- Developing and managing the Automation elements of the Annual Maintenance budget
- Adherence to ARYZTA company policies & procedures and ensuring health & safety practices are followed at all times
