**Summary:** Experienced Shift Maintenance Engineer with strong Automation skills sought to join Automated Cold Store Warehouse Maintenance Team. **Job Description:** At ARYZTA, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, delicious food and maintaining our position as the world's number one frozen bakery. Our employees are a critical component of our success, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our team. **Key Responsibilities:** * Work within the Maintenance Team, supporting the Cold Store Warehouse Facility and, at times, the on-site Bakery lines supplying product to the Cold Store Warehouse. * Provide hands-on support to the Maintenance Supervisor and/or the shift Technician, as well as online / remote / out of hours Automation support when needed. * Participate in ongoing continuous improvement projects and preventative maintenance works. * Develop and manage Automation elements of the Annual Maintenance budget. * Ensure adherence to ARYZTA company policies and procedures, while prioritizing health and safety practices. * Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to deliver departmental goals and KPIs. * Develop and organize Automation training and coaching for other members of the Maintenance Team. **Requirements:** * Degree Level 8 in Engineering - Electrical, Automation and Control * Min 5 years' post-qualification experience and strong interest in automation engineering * Excellent Maintenance support experience within live automated working environments * Ability to provide Electrical, Automation and Mechanical maintenance support where required * Qualified Electrical Engineer with strong Automation skills * Strong programming skills in Siemens PLC Step7 and related hardware configuration * Experience with fault finding of Automated systems, thorough interrogation / review of STL functional code, and electrical schematics * Excellent knowledge and understanding of motor control, especially that using Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) * Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and report writing skills * Experience with SAP CMMS is an advantage * Good working knowledge of all Automation Environment relevant fieldbus protocols **Personal Attributes:** * A clear thinker who works well under pressure * A strong continuous improvement mentality and focus * Ability to take ownership of situations and bring them to positive conclusion * Strong sense of Responsibility, Leadership, and ability to perform on own or as part of the wider ARYZTA team
