Summary of role: Maintenance Electrician for a leading public sector power generation company in Edenderry, Offaly, responsible for achieving challenging targets in maintenance, engineering, and safety. Main duties include contributing to the maintenance function, ensuring maintenance plans are achieved safely and economically, and carrying out fault diagnosis and plant inspections. Main responsibilities:
- Contribute to the maintenance function to achieve maximum plant availability, efficiency and safe systems of work.
- Ensure maintenance plans and targets for the team are achieved safely, economically and within the environmental limits of the Plant.
- Carry out fault diagnosis as required.
- Conduct plant inspections and undertake operational duties as required.
- Appropriate technical qualifications, recognized apprenticeship, HND, HC, and/or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience in similar role.
- Level 6 qualification or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Possess IT skills and a good knowledge of maintenance management systems, including planning of preventative maintenance and reporting.
