**Maintenance Electrician Wanted for Renewable Energy Business Unit**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Edenderry, reporting to the Maintenance Foreman. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and maintenance management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving challenging maintenance, engineering, commercial, safety, environmental, quality, and personal development targets. Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Contribute to the maintenance function to achieve maximum plant availability, efficiency, and safe systems of work.
• Ensure maintenance plans and targets for the team are achieved safely, economically, and within the environmental limits of the Plant.
• Carry out fault diagnosis, conduct plant inspections, and undertake operational duties as required.
• Pro-actively and creatively solve problems and take initiative.
• Participate in the implementation of the Plant Business Management System, including the Plant Safety Release programme.
• Carry out PM/other works and report to the Maintenance Management System, keeping records of all necessary quality documentation.
• Work within their own and alongside other teams to provide high-quality flexible maintenance resource geared to achieving high plant availability.
• Work alongside other parties and, as necessary, manage their activities on site.
• Carry out all work in a safe manner, actively participating in the work permit systems and following all safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills, knowledge, and attributes:

• Appropriate technical qualifications, recognized apprenticeship, HND, HC, and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Level 6 qualification or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering.
• IT skills and a good knowledge of maintenance management systems, including planning of preventative maintenance and reporting.
• Advantageous to have mechanical aptitude and experience with similar systems.
