Seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a leading manufacturing company in North Cork, responsible for the day-to-day running and maintenance of the production facility.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3.30pm
Job Description
- Manage the full electrical works and troubleshooting of the site and equipment.
- Lead the site's preventative electrical programme and manage scheduling.
- Carry out work orders in a timely and safe manner, adhering to company procedures.
- Test, inspect, and certificate own installations.
- Explain system procedures to site management.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of all site electrical equipment.
- Complete work order forms and paperwork in full.
- Follow all Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
Requirements
- A high level of competency in electrical work/electrical engineering, with a minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience.
- Experience of machines and process equipment, controls, and automation.
- Experience in electrical and mechanical installations and maintenance.
- Good communication, both written and oral skills.
- Good mental ability to logically follow a line of thought for problem-solving.
- A full driving license.
- Ability to work on their own initiative, with minimum supervision, as well as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to working hours (shift work, overtime, and on-call).
