Job Description
Seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a leading Irish food manufacturing company, responsible for maintaining production equipment and ensuring smooth operations.
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for:
- Maintenance of production process equipment, including breakdown repairs, preventative/predictive maintenance, and ongoing troubleshooting.
- Continuous improvement of production process equipment, identifying and implementing projects to enhance operating effectiveness.
- Maintenance of buildings and utilities systems and equipment as required.
- Completion of equipment and maintenance logs.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An electrical maintenance background and recognized electrical trade certification.
- Prior experience in the food manufacturing industry, with experience of form & fill seal machines and electro-mechanical repairs to PLC controlled manufacturing plants.
- Knowledge of PLC & HMI programming, electrical & pneumatic panel building, and pneumatic control systems.
This is a rotating shift role, with a competitive salary of €55,000 plus 15% evening shift allowance, bonus structure, pension, and discounted healthcare.
